Old Town Reconstruction Effort 2006

The City of Westfield is planning to continue infrastructure improvements to certain City neighborhoods. Current improvements are proposed for Collins Street, Foss Avenue, Linden Avenue, Dudley Avenue, Montgomery Street, Pochassic Street, Meadow Street, East Silver Street, and Murray Avenue. The improvements will vary with the location and include possible full-depth pavement reconstruction, sidewalk improvements, roadway drainage system upgrades, tree belt improvements/plantings, and highway signing/striping along the roadway corridors.

Your participation and support is critical to the success of this important City project. Please complete the following survey and return/mail by Friday, June 17, 2005 or bring the survey with you to the public forum, date and time indicated below. Concept plans will be presented in a public forum set for Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005 at 7p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 59 Court Street. Plans can be reviewed at the City Engineering Department at City Hall. The purpose of the forum is to provide you with an opportunity to get fully acquainted with the proposed improvements and encourage your participation in identifying issues and concerns along the Downtown area roadways.
